I’ve moved. What do I do now?

If you and your pet have moved to a new location, let us know so we can update your policy.

Updating your profile, including your mailing address is simple and easily done by contacting our Care Team. To get your address updated, please contact a member of our Care Team by email at care@phidirect.com and they will get back to you within two business days.


Please note that your premiums may change based on your new location. Because the cost to provide veterinary care varies significantly across the country, where you live is one of the key factors in determining your premium. You will be notified if your premium changes and the change will take effect on the next billing date.

I’ve moved to Quebec or internationally 

While PHI Direct provides coverage while travelling anywhere in Canada or the U.S., in order to be eligible for coverage you must reside in any of the Canadian provinces, excluding Quebec. If you move to Quebec, the United States, or anywhere outside of Canada, you will need to notify us to cancel your policy as you are no longer eligible for coverage.
